The Fourth of July holiday celebrates the independence of the United States from Great Britain in 1776 by adopting the Declaration of Independence. It's ironic that most of us spent time this weekend watching Wimbledon and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge tour Canada. But I guess it's nice that we all get along again. I've been busy the last few days styling one of my projects for a photo shoot today for Rue Magazine, a new online magazine that will debut this September. I am very excited for you to see the final design and can't wait to see all the other great interiors in the magazine. But right now I am going to take a much needed break and enjoy the Fourth of July. I hope all my American friends have a safe and wonderful holiday!
