Heart

I was particularly upset with what happened in Boston yesterday.  Boston was my home for five years before I moved to New York and it will always hold a special place in my heart. Patriot's Day is a day of celebration when almost everyone has the day off.  Parent's take their kids to the Red Sox game and people cheer on their friends and family running the Marathon never expecting it could be marred by tragedy.  My heart goes out to everyone.  It also makes you realize that life is short and we should live every day to the fullest. 

Heart Throb

I'm going to have to check and make sure I don't have a fever that's making delirious.  Normally, I hate anything cutesy and would definitely not be caught dead wearing anything with hearts on it.  That being said, I'm kind of loving the heart throb print at J.Crew.  I was in the Collection/Bridal store on Madison Avenue yesterday and thought it looked kind of cool in person.  I also saw Alina Cho wearing what I thought was a heart throb print dress at the Christian Louboutin party last night.  Turns out it's a shirt and skirt combined to look like a dress.  Now that's chic.  I draw the line at actually wearing it on Valentine's Day though. That would definitely mean I wasn't feeling myself.
