There are a lot of chic shops in New York but the recently renovated Rug Company showroom has them all beat! They have more room for their fashionable rugs and pretty pillows which now share space with lots of vintage furniture and accessories. I especially love the photographic wall hangings which I was told are a just placeholders until the same photos are made into tapestries. I don't even want to think about how long those will take to weave! Definitely stop in and check out The Rug Company the next time you are in Soho! Just don't forget to look at the rugs as well as the decor!The Rug Company
