Seating Arrangements

Now that my book is finished, I have been picking up lots of new novels.  This week I'm reading Seating Arrangements by Maggie Shipstead.  I'm only on chapter three but so far I'm enjoying it especially since it's the opposite of chic lit. Although I like to lose myself in those types of books too, this is a bit more real.  It takes place over a wedding weekend and I like that the story is told from the father of the bride's point of view.  Also doesn't hurt that it matches my Missoni beach towel. (Just kidding.) If you've ever summered in New England or taken a ferry to your weekend house, I think you'll enjoy Seating Arrangements too.
