Viceroy Revisited

It was exactly one year ago this week that I was having fun in the sun at the Viceroy Anguilla.  As excited as I am to be off to LA, I wouldn't mind heading back to this Caribbean paradise. They say on the island that almost everyone who visits will return.  If the white sand beaches and turquoise water don't entice you, the 80 degree temps might just do the trick. Not to mention the amazing accommodations at the Viceroy and their always smiling staff.  I wonder what their vacancy status is next week.

Off to Anguilla

You're probably saying to yourself, "didn't she just get back from LA?"  The answer is yes.  But when someone asks you if you want to attend a press trip to Viceroy Anguilla when it's January in New York, the answer should always be, "abso-freaking-lutely!"  So with just three days downtime, I'm headed off for a little fun in the sun.  I will be enjoying crystal clear waters, 80 degree temps, yoga, poolside spa treatments, and more.  To paraphrase Carrie Bradshaw, "just go ahead and feel what I want you to feel...jealous." Just kidding.  You know I'd take you all with me if I could.  Well, not all of you.  Just the nice ones.

Changes in Latitudes.Changes in Attitudes

Every year, I say that I want to spend New Year's somewhere warm and sunny and every year, I spend it in cold New York. Except for the year I spent it in even colder Stockholm but that's a story for another day. After seeing Oscar and Annette de la Renta's Punta Cana house in the Dominican Republic, I feel like trying to finally make this dream a reality! While I can't stay at their not so humble abode seen in these photos, I could make do at the also chic Puntacana Resort. Anyone else want to come?
