The Olivia Palermo Show

When The City was cancelled on MTV, I hoped that style idol Olivia Palermo would get her own show.  While she wouldn't divulge details, she just confirmed that she's "currently working on a TV project, my own show.”  I don't really care what it's about as long as it showcases her amazing personal style.  Oh, and her hot model boyfriend of course!  I'll keep you posted as to the air date.  Bon Weekend!

 

Modeling for Mango

Not only does Olivia Palermo look like a model and date one but now she actually is one.  She and her handsome boyfriend Johannes Huebl are modeling for Mango's winter catalog.  Her hair is stick straight instead of styled in her signature curls but she till looks chic.  Also chic is the El Palace Hotel in Barcelona which is the setting.  If anyone needs me today, I'm going to be shopping at Mango.  Hasta luego!

Lovely in Leather

If you are one of lucky few who look good in leather leggings, they are a chic option for fall and winter as illustrated by Olivia Palermo. Note to self: stop eating full stop.  Le sigh.

Chic in NY: Roberta Freymann by Olivia Palermo

The Roberta Freymann shop in New York reminds me a little of Kathryn Ireland's showroom in Los Angeles so I thought it would be a good time to let you know about what's going at the store involving fashionista Olivia Palermo. If you've watched The City on MTV, then you know that Olivia is a big fan of jewelry, especially statement necklaces. She also shopped at Roberta Freymann for her job at Elle magazine so it comes as no surprise that she is now designing necklaces for the store. The line is called Roberta Freymann by Olivia Palermo and ranges in price from $175-$300. Also, the marketing photos were shot at Café Cluny, my favorite place for lunch in the West Village. Hop on down there after you pick up a necklace!

Pea Green with Envy

If you don't live in New York, you might not know who Olivia Palermo is but then again, if you used to visit the now defunct Socialite Rank or read Vogue or New York Magazine, you might. She's the "socialite" that everyone loves to hate. She's a size 0, has an enviable wardrobe, goes to parties every night, and has a model boyfriend. What's not to love right? Oh, and did I mention she's only 22?

I've never met her but I always love checking out the party photos on Patrick McMullen to see what she's been wearing. She has amazing style and I think always looks great. Page Six magazine recently gave us a peak into her new Tribeca apartment that was pulled together with help from her interior designer mother, Lyn ­Hutchings, a partner at interior design firm Hutchings-Lyle.

I wish there were more photos since it looks kind of cute. Love the vintage Hermes tray and white leather coffee table with nail head trim from Carlyle ­Custom ­Convertible. Unfortunately, the flowers look like were picked up at the corner deli but I guess if that's the worst part, then she's not doing too badly. Although, now I feel the need to head to the gym to work out and the dermatologist for some Botox, and to work harder in order to upgrade my apartment! Keeping up with these young girls is like a full time job! (This is a joke by the way!)
