Sunny Days

They say it only rains in Los Angeles a few days a year. Seems they are all falling during my trip this week. There are actually a lot of us in town from NYC and we're trying to remember that a rainy warm day in LA is better than a 12 degree day which is the temperature at home. But the rain has put a little damper on things and I haven't had a chance to wear any of the sunglasses I brought along on my trip. I posted some of my favorite sunglasses pics a few years ago during a trip to the West Coast so I thought t would be fun to post some of them again. I'm also keeping my fingers crossed that the sun will come out today.

Update: The sun did come out today in LA and it was glorious!

Chic Shades

I've been loyal to Tom Ford sunglasses for years but I'm thinking it might be time for a switch. Or at least some new additions so I can mix things up. I ran across the German brand Mykita today on Style.com and might have to check them out. Their sunglasses are not only favored by rock stars like P.Diddy and Katy Perry but their frames are also worn by Daniel Craig in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I have to wait until they email me back to find out the stockists in New York but a little internet research reveals that you can find them at the Bergdorf Goodman Men's Store. If anyone needs me today, that's where I'll be.

Chic in Shades

I wanted to buy myself a new pair of sunglasses before my trip but ran out of time. I have a pair of Tom Ford gold aviator sunglasses that still look good but I feel like it's time for a change. I have been debating on a pair of large Jackie O style shades or the new cat eye style. There are so many chic sunglasses on the people in this post that I now want to buy one of everything! Enjoy!
